If we want to succeed in legion we need to have the right people playing the right jobs with the right gear. Here are a few requirements for winning legion consistently. If you want to be included it's best to fit into at least two of these groups.
Everyone
Meds including Reraise, Panacea, Holy Water, and Echo Drops.
Remember to post whether your jobs meet the above criteria, and if they don't, a general timetable for fixing what's missing!
Nothing has been set in stone yet, but given the 18-man cap on entering, spots are going to be first come first serve, jobs permitting. Ergo, the earlier you show up and the more roles you can fulfill, the better your chance of being included in the run.
There's a few reasons SMN isn't on the list, but the big one is that relying on PD to win isn't really a strategy. Using two DD parties allows us to keep a faster pace and adds flexibility (ergo, if 1-2 DDs die, a stop>recover may not be necessary.). It also makes it much easier to maintain buffs for the support players, further contributing to our pace. Further, with this setup/strategy, no SP abilities are required for success. We will continue to fulltime Embrava until the nerf of course, but it's just a perk, not the reason we bring 3 of em. Incidentally, that's why we're asking BRDs to have relic/empyrean instruments. Once Embrava is nerfed we will need marches again, so 6 songs (march x2 / minuet x2 / madrigal / scherzo) will be very necessary.
I am interested in the Whm spot, im about 1.7m from arise and i have been farming dyna to buy the spell. I have capped cur potency and a pretty good cure spell casting time gear set that makes my cures go off around 30%ish and if i keep farming as i am i can farm xarc and get the hands and +2 them, really all i need is some time and i should be able farm up all that i need.
